The cottage, approximately 55 m², is located in Odratzheim, Alsace. Within a half-timbered house, typical of the Alsace region, the cottage has independent access and a shared courtyard.
-On the ground floor: entrance, toilet, large living room with fitted kitchen (dishwasher, oven, extractor hood, induction hob, microwave, kettle, cookware, espresso coffee machine), dining room / lounge with sofa, flat screen TV with HD digital terrestrial television , WIFI .
-On the first floor (attic), there are two large bedrooms, one with a 160cm double bed and the other with two 90cm single beds, all with new bedding. There is a separate bathroom with a shower and sink. A hairdryer is provided.
The main bedroom contains a baby cot with mattress and a high chair is available.
-Cellar with washing machine and clothesline.
-Heating by electric convectors and radiant heaters.

Located in a charming village on the wine route with its (private) castle listed as a historical monument.
Numerous cycle paths and vineyard trails nearby will allow you to fully enjoy nature.
There is a bakery about 500m from the cottage and the village hosts a farmers' market every Thursday.
In the surrounding villages, you can buy directly from the producers: fruits, vegetables, wines etc.
Less than 5 minutes away by car is a supermarket, as well as the town of Marlenheim and its shops: butcher/caterer, florist, tobacconist/newsagent, restaurants, library, garages, banks, pharmacy and post office.
-Strasbourg, the European capital, is 20 kilometers away for shopping and leisure.
-Molsheim and the outdoor swimming pool are 15 minutes away.
-A large cinema "Le Trèfle" in Dorlisheim, 15 minutes away.
-Brumath lake 35 minutes away.
-Fun city huge indoor play park for children of 1300m2 15 minutes away.
-Obernai is 20km away.
-Europapark is a 1-hour drive away.

Odratzheim
Presentation
Commune with an area of 154 ha, located in the Canton of WASSELONNE.
Its inhabitants are called Odratzheimois and numbered 469 in the 2010 census.
It is crossed by the Mossig and the Kuhbach rivers.
Odratzheim Castle
In 1765, Auguste Pierre de Géradon, royal war commissioner, had the beautiful residence built. The architect was Joseph Massol. Subsequently, the house also had many owners.
The Synagogue
A significant Jewish community was recorded in Odratzheim. It likely settled there in the 16th century, after being expelled from Strasbourg. They then built the synagogue (18th or 19th century). Later, due to the vagaries of history, the community declined, and the building was used as a warehouse. In 1952, the Jewish consistory sold the building to the municipality, which transformed it into a sports and socio-cultural center in 1985.
A bit of history:
Odratzheim is a very old village; as early as 747 a certain Count HUGO (probably a brother of St. Odile) ceded possessions there to the abbey of Honau.
Odradesheim in 884, Oteresheim around 1120 or Oderatesheim in 1161, currently in Alsatian dialect Oderze.
In a recent work, Michel Paul Urban offers an explanation based on toponymy; we quote him: "Habitation on a ledge." From a Paleo-European root AT-R designating a ledge, a flat space between two slopes, followed by the suffix -heim. Another explanation: from a Germanic personal name Odrat (odo "wealth," rat "counsel"), which must in any case have influenced the form of the toponym.
Throughout the Middle Ages, after belonging to various abbeys such as Honau, Marmoutier, etc., the village, through donation, inheritance or dowry, passed into the hands of many lords.
Let us mention some of the best known. Odratzheim belonged in the 13th century to the lords of Ochsenstein.
In 1442, the village became the property of the BEGER family, then of the LANDSBERG family and at the beginning of the 17th century, by dowry, passed to the Holtzapfel family of Herxheim.
In 1712, the Falkenhayen family inherited it. They sold it in 1760 to the Praz family, who, through dowry, then ceded it to the Géraudon family.
